How to Join
You must be living or working within our Common Bond area in order to join the Credit Union.

Items required when opening an account with Rathangan & District Credit Union.


1. Photographic Identification

One of the following must be provided

  • Current Valid Passport
  • Current Valid Driving Licence
  • Current Sealed Employment Card
  • Current Age Card
  • ML 10 Form

    • 2. Evidence of current residential address

    One of the following must be provided

  • Household utility bill, e.g. ESB, Eircom, Mobile Phone bill
  • Bank or Building society statement
  • Social Welfare correspondence
  • Motor Insurance Certificate
  • TV Licence

    • All of the above should have been issued within the last three months.


    3. PPS Number

    This must be provided when opeing ALL accounts.
    The following documents are accepted as evidence of PPS number:

  • A document issued by the Revenue Commisioners
  • A document issued by the Minister for Social & Family Affairs
